Citizen Katie

Connect with Chicago area Katies and give back to your community by volunteering at Bernie’s Books. Bernie’s Book Bank facilitates the collection, processing and redistribution of new and gently used children’s books to significantly increase book ownership among at-risk infants, toddlers and school-age children throughout Chicagoland. Our group will sort, sticker and bag collections of books for at-risk children. It’s fun, easy, not messy or physically taxing, and very rewarding. Family and friends are welcome to join us. Please RSVP by October 13 to Kelly Povo at kapovo@stkate.edu or 651-690-6063.

Contact your local Chicago leader Maura Junius to RSVP and for more information on the Chicago Chapter. The Chicago Chapter is also on Facebook.
