The Reflective Woman mini-course
Join West Suburban Katies to experience this student and alumnae favorite. Since 1995, The Reflective Woman (TRW) has been the foundation of the St. Catherine educational experience and curriculum. Presented by author and St. Catherine University Professor of English and Women’s Studies, Cecilia Konchar Farr, Ph.D. Cost: $40, which includes lunch and reading materials sent prior to the class. Register online by May 5. Location: Hazeltine National Golf Club.

Join alumnae and other St. Kate's friends for brunch with University President Andrea Lee, IHM and our new Vice President for External Relations Bea Abdallah. Don't miss a great opportunity to hear what's new at St. Catherine University. Brunch will be held at the Rochester Country Club. Guests are welcome.

Saturday, July 19
Great River Shakespeare Festival and Marine Art Museum Tour.  Join alumnae and guests for a day in Winona! Special 10 a.m. tour of the Minnesota Marine Art Museum with Kathy Daniels ’73, director of the Catherine G. Murphy Gallery. This world-class museum includes works by Monet, Gauguin, Cassatt and Van Gogh.  After the tour we will hear an inspiring lecture on Hamlet by Margery Smith CSJ, ’49, faculty emerita, while we enjoy lunch in a private room at a local restaurant. We will end the day with a 2 p.m. performance of Hamlet at the Great River Shakespeare Festival.  Please join us for any or all of these events!
All events, all day $60, 10 a.m. art museum only, $6; 11:30 a.m. lecture and lunch only, $22; 2 p.m. Hamlet performance only, $32.

Join Des Moines area Katies for an informal coffee and conversation. Christine Carroll Collinet '87 will give a short program on Fill a Mind and Heart, a non-profit she works with that is committed to improving the lives of children in Ethiopia by providing funding for education, nutrition and medical care. Event is free but please RSVP by May 1 to Kelly Povo.


Kansas City

Friday, May 30, 7:30-9:30 a.m.

Join Kansas City Katies and volunteer to work at a golf tournament that supports Gilda's House. Guests are welcome. Our group will be registering golfers from 7:30-9:30 a.m. Location: Oakwood Country Club. Please RSVP to kapovo@stkate.edu by May 22.
