Connect with Katies and give back to your community on this Katies National Day of Service. Volunteer at StreetLight USA, a non-profit whose mission is to transition adolescent girls from trauma to triumph. Our group will work on yard beautification, administration building cleaning and engaging in a variety of activities with residents. Alumnae, spouses and children 10+ are welcome to join us for our volunteer day! Questions? Join Katies for an afternoon in Union Square. The iconic Westin St. Francis hotel is celebrating its 110th anniversary with complimentary tours of the hotel. Yes, complimentary! The tour will also include some delicious bites from their signature cookbook aptly titled The Hotel St. Francis. The tour is from 1:10-2:10 p.m. Let's meet for a light lunch beforehand at Caruso's in the hotel's main lobby at 11:30. Friends and family are welcome on the tour. Please RSVP to Kelly Povo by September 18 to reserve your spot.

Join Northern California area Katies and give back to the community by donating food to Feeding America.  Feeding America Northern California is a partnership of local food banks serving people in need through food pantries, children’s programs, shelters, soup kitchens, residential programs and other emergency food providers. Please visit http://www.feedingamericanortherncalifornia.org/ to find out what you can donate.  11:30 a.m.:  Meet at Sociale, 3665 Sacramento Street, S.F. for a pay-on-your-own lunch, a chance to connect with Katies and to drop off your items. Saturday, October 4: Citizen Katie
Connect with Katies and give back to your community. Denver area Katies will volunteer with Extreme Community Makeover, a nonprofit that works on outdoor urban renewal in inner city neighborhoods. Please RSVP by September 19 so we can coordinate projects with the residents we'll be working with. Guests are welcome to participate. Citizen Katie Day in Seattle. Connect with Katies and give back to your community. Seattle Katies will buy, prepare and serve dinner at the Ronald McDonald House. We need to confirm 15 volunteers by August 1 to reserve our time at the Ronald McDonald House so please contact Kelly Povo today to find out how you can help .

Join alumnae for a docent tour of this fabulous new exhibit at the History Museum in Santa Fe. After the tour we will enjoy lunch at a local restaurant. Event will be pay-on-your-own but please RSVP to kapovo@stkate.edu by August 25.
